Test -A-Pack offers an easy-to-use system that meets the ASTM F2054-05 standard for restrained package testing. The F100-1750-1 Closed Package Restraining Plate Fixture provides a stable platform for conducting pressurized seal strength testing on fully sealed flexible packages and lidded trays.
The F100-1750-2 Open Package Restraining Plate Fixture allows the user to perform this same type
of testing on open pouches. When used in conjunction with Test-A-Pack's F100-2600-5 Seal Strength Tester, these fixtures are capable of testing a wide variety of porous and non-porous packages.
Features:
Both heavy duty construction fixtures test packages up to 50 PSI. The unique design allows the user to set the gap to any height within a 2" range. As the package is inflated between the plates, only the seals can deflect, insuring that the weakest part of the package seal fails.
The F100-1750-1 Restraining Plate Fixture uses a 3/16" needle probe to penetrate and inflate the test sample. An integral sensing tube provides feedback of the package's internal pressure to the F100-2600-5 tester. A slide-out tray makes it easy to accurately place a package up to 14" wide by 20" long into the fixture. The F100-1750-2 Restraining Plate Fixture is used with Test-A-Pack's F100-1600 Open Package Test Fixture, which inflates and holds the package in place during testing.
