Multi-functional
device
Application:
The EMVR (part number B47875) is an integrated on/off valve-pressure regulator that is electrically actuated from a remote location such as the cockpit of an airplane. The EMVR is
adaptable to a variety of high pressure applications.
Features:
The cylinder mounted integrated on/off valve-pressure regulator provides an outlet pressure of 75 ± 9 psig from an inlet of 150 / 1,850 psig. The EMVR is compact and its fully integrated
design allows for multiple functions from a single component. Over pressure-protection of the system downstream is provided by a relief valve set at 89 ± 5 psig. A pressure transducer
provides an output signal of 4 / 20 mA for remote indication of the bottle pressure. A simple cockpit mounted switch allows for remote shutoff of the oxygen at the high pressure source.
Valve position indication provides feedback after the valve has been toggled open or closed.
The valve can be supplied with a fill/check valve for system charging. The valve incorporates a restrictor to limit the charging rate for temperature stabilization, and an automatic shutoff feature to limit system pressure to 2,150 psig.
