Life Support: CRU-121 Panel-Mounted Oxygen Regulator
CRU-121 Panel Mounted Oxygen Regulator
LOX, GOX, and OBOGS compatible
100% oxygen
Night Vision compatible
High flow capacity
Application:
The CRU-121/A is a positive pressure 100% oxygen regulator. It is designed to supply 0.0 - 2.0 in. H2O nominal pressure and 3.0 - 5.0 in. H2O in an emergency situation, up to an altitude ceiling of 40,000 ft.
The regulator can be used in liquid oxygen, gaseous oxygen, and on-board oxygen generation systems, with the advantage of replacing only the pressure gauge when retrofitting to a GOX system. The regulator can also be converted to be compatible with night vision systems with the replacement of the light panel. This regulator will be replacing a majority of panel mounted regulators found on Navy aircraft including the P-3, C-130, V-22 and E-2C.
Features:
The design of this regulator is based on the CRU-103 chest mounted regulator, which is the standard in the U.S. Navy. The reduced parts count and commonality with the CRU-103 makes this an extremely reliable and easily supported oxygen regulator. The interfaces have been designed to insure that this regulator is a direct replacement for all previously manufactured panel mounted regulators.
