Oxygen Regulator Charging Valve
  • Aircraft qualified
  • Compact design
  • Lightweight construction
  • Oxygen service to 2,000 psi

Application:

The 2239 series pressure regulator provides breathing oxygen for distribution to crew stations on large commercial aircraft. The regulator is adaptable for other high pressure oxygen system applications.

Features:

The cylinder mounted regulator delivers a preset outlet pressure of 70 ± 8 psig from an inlet pressure ranging from 1,850 to 500 psig. The single stage design, utilizing a Belleville and helical spring combination, results in an exceptionally compact unit. A Kel-F seat, metal sensing diaphragm, and inlet filter provide a high level of safety in high pressure oxygen environments. Over-pressure protection of the system downstream of the regulator is provided by a relief valve set at 140 ± 20 psig. A solid state pressure transducer mounted on the inlet side provides a 0-5 VDC signal for remote indication of oxygen supply pressure.

The valve can be supplied with a fill/check valve for system charging. The valve incorporates a restrictor to limit the changing rate for temperature stabilization, and an automatic shutoff feature to limit system pressure to 2,000 psi.
