The 1970 Manual Globe Valve is a “Packless”, rugged, and reliable valve that is compatible and safe with high pressure oxygen. It is used on all U.S. Navy nuclear submarines and multiple surface ships as well. It conforms to Level I/SUBSAFE criteria and is available in many different configurations.
Features:
The 1970 Series Globe Valve features a “packless” bellows, no dynamic seals, and a Neoflon seat with a back-up metal to metal seat. It also has a non-rotating valve stem resulting in longer seat life and features a Nickel-Copper body for corrosion resistance. It is capable of bi-directional flow and shutoff, and is qualified to MIL-V-24439 including Shock and Vibration.
