The self-contained, compact six-person portable oxygen system (part number
7920030-21) is suitable for use in flying, jumping, rescue and emergency medical
applications. The system is capable of being used in the air, on the ground
or at sea by personnel requiring self-contained, highly mobile, extremely durable
and long lasting oxygen system.
Features:
The console can be used between one and six individuals, all connected to various
regulator sources, i.e. chest-mounted, helmet-mounted, suit-mounted, etc. at
the same time. The console assembly structure is supported by two military-standard
2,100 psig (145 bar) high-pressure oxygen cylinders which are regulated to a
flow rate of 40 to 80 psig (2.7 to 5.6 bar) at 330 slpm.
The console will interface with numerous oxygen regulators and mask combinations
and existing MIL SPEC oxygen hoses. The console can attach to numerous oxygen
regulators insuring unlimited operational altitudes. The console is equipped
with a second fill valve to connect an external auxiliary or emergency oxygen
supply up to 450 psig (31 bar).
The console is logistically simple to maintain and serviceable in the field.
The oxygen cylinders can be refilled while in use through a single point. Safety
is ensured through low and high pressure relief valves to protect the system
against high pressures and temperatures. Securing bolts provide positive locking
to any superstructure. The console is field proven in a variety of applications
by the US Army, US Navy, US Air Force, US Marine Corps and more than 20 foreign
countries.
